Dr. Allan Zeman, chairman of the Lan Kwai Fong Holdings Limited, gave a talk titled “Father of Lan Kwai Fong: The Secrets of Allan Zeman’s Many Successes” on 14 November at the Ho Yin Convention Centre. It was part of the Distinguished Talk Series 2013 co-organised by the University of Macau’s (UM) Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) and the Asia-Pacific Academy of Economics and Management (APAEM). The talk drew over 300 UM students and staff as well as approximately 100 local students and guests.
In his talk, Dr. Allan Zeman encouraged the audience to follow their passions and never give up their dreams.
UM’s Vice Rector (Research) Prof. Rui Martins, APAEM Co-director Prof. William Mobley, FBA Associate Dean (Curriculum and Teaching) Prof. Michael Gift, and FBA Associate Dean (Research and Development) Prof. Rose Lai also attended the event.
